Getting Started With Unity / Introduction

Unity is a cross-platform game engine developed by Unity Technologies

The engine supports a variety of desktop, mobile, console and virtual reality platforms and is particularly popular for indie game development.

The engine can be used to create two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) games, as well as interactive simulations and other experiences.

The engine has been adopted by industries outside video gaming, such as film, automotive, architecture, engineering, construction, and the United States Armed Forces.

We at Playniax made the switch in 2018 from our own engine to Unity and we have since launced 2 games and various game assets on the Unity Asset Store.
